Situated for many years in the heart of Woodbridge on the banks of the picturesque River Deben in Suffolk, The Woodbridge Boat Yard Ltd, (formerly Everson & Sons Ltd.) is a boatyard providing moorings and winter storage for more than 150 yachts and motor boats at very competitive rates. We maintain more than 50 moorings, mostly drying at half tide, and  pontoons for dinghies and small craft.         In addition we have craftsmen on hand to provide for all boating needs, including engine installation, maintenance and repair, painting and antifouling, joinery and all woodwork maintenance and repair. Over the years, many local yachts and dinghies were built here including Kingfishers and Cherubs. Today we still build a gunter rigged sailing dinghy suitable for use as a tender as well. We are able to supply and install the modern and efficient BETA range of inboard diesel engines. Sails are supplied and maintained locally by Suffolk Sails and rigging checked and supplied by Atlantic Rigging.

To enter the  River Deben download the latest chartlet . High tide at the Deben bar is about five minutes before Felixstowe and at Woodbridge about 45 minutes after Felixstowe . Check the weather before crossing the bar. Visitors moorings usually available, and we can also provide a mid-season lift and pressure wash.
We provide a brokerage sales facility for boat sales, and a friendly welcome to all customers and visitors throughout the year. Close by on either side of our yard are the Deben Yacht Club and Woodbridge Cruising Club.
